Initially set on being a dairy farmer, the aristocratic Karen Blixen travels to Africa to join her womanizing husband, Bror, who instead spends their money on a coffee plantation. There Karen has a passionate love affair with a free-spirited big-game hunter.
The movie follows Mitch, a Harvard law school grad who happily signs on with a top Memphis law firm, only to discover that it has a sinister dark side. Very soon Mitch becomes worried about ‘The Firm’s’ clients, and is approached by the FBI who are investigating their Mafia connections.
Set mainly in New York City and Washington, D.C., the film is about a bookish CIA researcher who comes back from lunch, finds all his co-workers dead, and must outwit those responsible until he figures out who he can really trust.
The movie tells the story of jaded veteran of the Mexican War Jeremiah Johnson who seeks solace and refuge in the West. Jeremiah then becomes the unwilling object of a long vendetta by Indians, and proves to be a match for their warriors in one-on-one combat on the early frontier.
