After his mother is killed, Tod the fox is taken in by the kindly Widow Tweed. He soon befriends the neighbor’s new hound dog, Copper. However, two childhood friends find themselves forced to become enemies, but they both try to overcome their inherent differences in order to salvage their friendship.
When the Allies need expendable soldiers for a highly dangerous mission, springing the general from prison and carrying out his plans, they offer pardons to a group of criminals in exchange for their participation.
