The movie centers on high school freshman Angus, a miserable class fat-boy, an object of scorn and derision who secretly has a crush on the class beauty, and ends up becoming the surprising participant to dance with her at a high school dance.
Dimwitted, misguided Martians drop into a little Illinois town, but unfortunately, it’s Halloween night and the citizens mistake these spaced invaders for harmless trick-or-treaters. As their troubles mount, they begin to give up their plans of conquest, but then there is that nasty killer robot.
Posing as baby photographers, a group of three incompetent villains kidnap a wealthy baby and have a harder time keeping hold of the rascal, who not only keeps one step ahead of them, but seems to be more than a little bit smarter than the three bumbling criminals.
