Harry (Jack Thompson), a middle-aged father who suffered through the death of his wife, is ready to get back into dating. But he also has to deal with a complex issue: his son, who is in his 20s and gay, is searching for ‘Mr. Right.’
The film is based on a book. It is about a young girl Nonnie Parker and a boy Harry Winslow. After witnessing the murder of their parents, they attempt to escape the heartless killer. They must go through fire and water in the harsh Kalahari Desert, which makes them become close friend.
The film is set in a post-apocalyptic world in which civilisation has crumbled. A massive electromagnetic pulse has killed all children on the planet with the exception of Molly (Billie Rutherford), the daughter of Jake Slater (Jake Ryan).
