After Japan’s attack on Pearl Harbor, residents of California descend into a wild panic, afraid that they might be the next target. The movie follows Californians when they prepare for a Japanese invasion.
Fresh out of the slammer, Jake Blues, along with his brother Elwood, visit the Catholic home where they both grew up. They find out that it will soon shut down because of lack of funds and support. Jake then puts together his old band to save it.
