The film follows a male Cinderella who grows up with his heartless stepmother and his two boorish stepbrothers. One day, he has a special chance to transform to become a great man and falls in love with princess. However, he must come back home before midnight when the spell is broken.
Taking place in a United States Army base during World War 2, the film features the daily life of two hapless soldiers, Vic Puccinelli and Alvin Korwin. Although the dual try to perform well in the camp, one mishap after another does they have to face.
